Bruce, celebrating her 60th birthday at the event, expressed excitement about seeing some of her favorite musicians. “I hope I see Ozzy, Cher, Foreigner, and Peter Frampton—all of them! We just hope we don’t end up in jail!” she joked.

For younger fans like Luis Bowen, the allure of bands like Foreigner is just as strong despite not having lived through their peak. “I missed them in their heyday, but I love listening to their music now. I’m a big fan of Foreigner,” he said.

The night was extraordinary for Jennifer Marshall, who proudly donned a Dave Matthews Band shirt as she prepared to watch her favorite band be inducted. “I’m thrilled just to be here. Meeting him would be the dream, but this is the next best thing!” she said excitedly.

The event will be broadcast live on Disney+ starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with an encore airing on ABC on New Year’s Day for those without access to the streaming service. The show will also be available on Hulu and Disney+ starting January 2nd.

Mary J.
